What is Austin like?
OK, not all of Austin looks like this, but this really is Austin, TX. This is a view looking to the northwest from atop Mt. Bonnell. Mt. Bonnell sits high above Lake Austin, one of the lakes that runs through the city.
Austin is at the line that divides flat land to the east and the Central Texas Hill Country to the west. Parts of Austin, as you can see from this photo, are very dramatic to look at.

This is very important - Austin is healthy compared to much of the country. Job growth is very strong and unemployment is very low. Though we have been impacted by the lending crisis and sales have slowed, we are still seeing good home sales in many parts of the area and prices continue to appreciate.
