The Austin MLS area map has changed. You can view the old MLS map, but the new one doesn't appear to be available for the public yet. If you are interested in real estate in a particular part of Austin, please contact me. In addition to being able to search for Austin homes by MLS areas, I have the capability of searching by points on a map as well as MLS areas.
In case you are wondering about real estate values in the Austin area, they vary quite a bit from one part of town to the next. For example, areas around the lakes will be higher priced than areas in Round Rock. Downtown Austin as well as areas west of downtown such as 8E, 8W and RN will be priced higher because they are in the hills. If you are looking for value, areas south, east and north tend to be less expensive.
