Block House Creek is a large, master-planned neighborhood in Leander that contains almost 2,200 homes. The neighborhood is within an area bordered by Hwy 183A on the east, New Hope Rd. on the south, Hwy 183 (also known as N. Bell Blvd.) on the west and CR 272 on the north. Block House Creek contains parks and pools and the Walker House, which was originally a blockhouse. A blockhouse is a small, but strong, fort with openings on the second story to shoot from.
