Cedar Park and Leander are suburban cities in the northwest Austin area. Cedar Park is a little closer to the downtown Austin area. Considered a bit of a drive from downtown Austin or the airport because of the lack of high-speed highways, Cedar Park and Leander are much closer to everything now because of the new 183A toll road.
Cedar Park and Leander are served by Leander ISD schools, which is a very good school district.
