Comanche Trail is a neighborhood overlooking the main basin of Lake Travis. Some homes have lake frontage and some sit as high as 300 feet above the lake and that makes for some incredible views. The topography in Comanche Trail is dramatic and this gives the area some very steep roads.
Some Comanche Trail homes overlook the Cypress Creek arm of Lake Travis to the north, but most look out toward Starnes Island and Mansfield Dam. Comanche Trail started developing in the 1960s and some homes look their age. Other homes are more recent and are quite modern.
