The Coves of Cimarron is a small community in Buda north of FM 978 and southwest of FM 1826. The neighborhoods features homes built mainly in the 1980s and 1990s. Homes in the Coves of Cimarron are fairly small, with most having fewer than 2,000 square feet, but lots are fairly large, with some being half an acre or more. IH 35 and State Highway 130 are close to the Coves of Cimarron so getting to employers and shopping in Austin and Round Rock is not much of a drive.
