Escala is a very exclusive, gated neighborhood within the larger development of Barton Creek. Homes are large and private, with most containing 5,000 to 8,000 square feet. However, there are are larger homes on larger home sites. Many overlooking canyons or one of the Barton Creek Country's golf courses.
Escala is around 15 minutes west of downtown Austin via Bee Cave Road or Southwest Parkway. Going northwest on Southwest Parkway and then Hwy 71, Escala residents have access to the Hill Country Galleria Mall and the Lakeway Regional Medical Center as well as recreation on Lake Travis.
