Flintrock Falls is an exclusive, gated golf community in Lakeway. Set around an 18 hole Jack Nicklaus golf course, Flintrock Falls homes look out over the Hill Country and back toward the main part of Lakeway. Homes in Flintrock Falls are stone, stucco or a combination of the two and have tile or metal roofs. Home to the Showcase of Homes several times, Flintrock Falls has some very nice, luxury homes.
There are also Villa homes in Flintrock. These are single family, but are zoned condominium. The Villas at Flintrock are ideal for empty nesters who like to lock and leave or for people wanting second homes in a golf community. A newer part of Flintrock Falls that is opening up features large lots of up to one acre in size.
Being part of Lakeway, Flintrock is close to just about everything anyone would need. Access to Lake Travis marinas is within minutes. Major shopping is minutes away. The Lake Travis ISD schools that serve Flintrock Falls are within 10 minutes of any home in the neighborhood. The new Hill Country Galleria Mall, which opened in the fall of 2007, is within 10 minutes as well. The drive to downtown Austiin can be 45 or more minutes during peak traffic or bad weather, but that isn't much of a drive in Texas!
