My daughter and I were at the Apache Shores boat launch on Lake Austin back in 2005. She looked down and said: "Hey dad, look at this funny rock." What she picked up appeared to be a spear tip fashioned out of flint. According to some local experts I talked with, this artifact could have been anywhere from 2,000 to 11,000 years old.
