The Island at Mount Bonnell Shores is a very exclusive, gated waterfront neighborhood on Lake Austin in the shadow of Mount Bonnell. It is located off Mount Bonnell Road and Island Cove. The Island at Mount Bonnell is one of the most desireable waterffront communites on either Lake Austin or Lake Travis.
The community is made up of 39 homes, all on the water, and each has a private boat dock or boat house. These homes, hidden from many, can be seen from the top of Mount Bonnell or from a boat and they are quite spectacular.
