Lake Pointe is a great community between Lake Travis and downtown Austin. Located off Bee Cave Road close to Highway 71, Lake Pointe is about 30 minutes from downtown and about 10 minutes from various points on the lake.
There are three parts of Lake Pointe and each has something a little different to offer. The main section of Lake Pointe is the least expensive part of the neighborhood. Some homes have very nice Hill Country views as they back to a nature preserve.
Another part of Lake Pointe contains larger and more expensive homes. They sit higher than the rest of the community and that gives them commanding views of the Hill Country. Residents can literally see for miles. Most of these homes have very nice outdoor living and kitchen areas.
The third part of Lake Pointe is a gated community with even larger and more expensive homes. Some of the homes here not only have great Hill Country views, but can also see Lake Austin. Pools, outdoor kitchens and living areas are very common and are usually incredibly nice.
Shops, restaurands and more abound in the area. Lake Point is literally right next to the Hill Country Galleria Mall and almost right across from the Shops at the Galleria. Right down RR 620 is the city of Lakeway. It is home to retail office space, many shops and restaurants and the Lakeway Regional Medical Center.
The area is served by the outstanding Lake Travis ISD schools. Lake Pointe Elementary is in Lake Pointe, making this a great neighborhood for families with younger children.
