Pflugerville is a city on the northeastern side of Austin. The city has grown rapidly since the 1990s years because of the affordability of housing. What had been gently rolling farmland was easy to develop and large builders were able build quickly and inexpensively.
Pflugerville is around 20-40 minutes from downtown Austin, depending on time of day and weather, via IH 35. The Austin suburb is also very close to Round Rock. So anyone living in Pflugerville and working in downtown Austin or perhaps at Dell in Round Rock doesn’t have that much of a commute.
