This program involves me referring an agent to you to handle your transaction. Simply call me or email me. I will ask about your needs and desires for selling. I will then personally interview agents in your area until I find one I think you will be comfortable with. Ultimately it will be your decision as to hiring the agent I refer, but I’ll do my best to qualify them. If you already have an agent you want to use, ask the agent if she will honor the referral fee.

So how will this help you keep your costs down? When I refer an agent to you I will ask that agent for a 25% referral fee. Basically this means that the agent will pay me 25% of whatever their commission comes to. This is a common practice and most agents are comfortable working referrals for a fee. Here’s how it works for you: I’ll require the other agent to give 100% of my referral fee back to you. So for each $100,000 of value, your closing costs will be reduced by $750. This money does not actually come back to you, but it effectively reduces the agent's commission by the amount of the referral fee.

Example: You are moving from Denver to Austin. You sell your home in Denver for $250,000. The agent I refer to you gets a 3% commission. My referral fee is 25% of that, or $1875. So your selling costs are reduced by $1875!

So what's the catch? In order to this I'll ask you to use me as your buyer's agent when you purchase your home in my area.
