This section features neighborhoods in the south Lake Travis area. This is an area on the south side of Lake Travis bordered approximately by Mansfield Dam, the Pedernales River, the Hays County line to the intersection of Hwy 71 and Hwy 620. It basically is the same area covered by the Lake Travis Independent School District.
The south Lake Travis area is very popular for a variety of reasons. It is served by the Lake Travis ISD, which has excellent schools. It is in the beautiful Texas Hill Country and, of course, is home to Lake Travis, one of the most popular and clearest lakes in Texas.
