Steiner Ranch is a large master-planned subdivision in northwest Austin very close to Lake Travis. Physically just off RR 620, Steiner Ranch is about 40 minutes from the downtown Austin area.
Steiner Ranch is in the Hill Country so many of the homes will have very nice views. A couple of newer developments within Steiner Ranch have homes on Lake Austin with some of those being around 150 feet above Lake Austin with very dramatic drops to the water.
Steiner Ranch is home to a variety of walking trails, parks, swimming pools, tennis courts and the University of Texas golf course. A number of gated areas also exist within Steiner Ranch, making those areas a bit more prestigous and secure.
