West Cave Estates is similar to Saddletree Ranch in that it sits part in Travis County and part in Hays County. As such, it is served by either Lake Travis or Dripping Springs schools, both of which are very good. The map below shows the school district boundary running through the neighborhood. Anything north of the line is served by Lake Travis schools. To the south will be Dripping Springs schools.
West Cave Estates sits around 10 minutes north of the city of Dripping Springs and about 12-15 minutes from the Bee Cave and Lakeway area. That puts residents of the community close to the Hill Country Galleria Mall, the Shops at the Galleria and the Lakeway Regional Medical Center.
Home sites in West Cave Estates tend to run between 1 and 5 acres so many home owners can ejoy nice privacy. The neighborhood is also far enough from city lights that the night sky is pretty amazing. Another plus about the community is home owners can have a horse on many prpoerties.
The community has home sites of over one acre and offers some amazing Central Texas Hill Country views. For nature lovers, West Cave Estates is also close to Westcave Preserve and Hamilton Pool Preserve.
