My website provider has integrated the ability to blog within my site.  I think this is excellent in terms of functionality and I really hope it adds something useful for people who hit my website.  My plan is to ultimately transfer my Austin Real Estate News blog to this one.  I plan on posting a variety of information here including:

Austin real estate market statistics
News stories that have a potential inpact on the Austin real estate market
Stories on specific market segments with the Austin area
Projects such as parks and roads
New jobs coming to the area
Significant stories in Texas that show the condition of the state as a whole
Economic forecasts

Please keep in mind that when I refer to Austin I am really referring the multi-county area that the Austin Board of REALTORS® covers.  This can include both the north and south shore of Lake Travis, Dripping Springs, Wimberley, Georgetown, Round Rock, Leander, etc.  In addition, since the Highland Lakes Board of REALTORS® coverage area overlaps part of the Austin Board AND because the Highland Lakes are covered by the two different Boards that I will post from time to time about Marble Falls and other Highland Lake areas.
