The City of Bee Cave
The city council in Bee Cave, Texas decided they didn't like being a village any longer. It seemed to connote something small with not much going on. So they changed the name from the Village of Bee Cave to the City of Bee Cave. With the population growing, the Shops at the Galleria (half a million feet of retail) open and the new Hill Country Galleria under construction, Bee Cave wanted to be taken more seriously. So it looks like one of Austin's little brothers is growing up!
