If you are relocating to the Austin area or even if you are relocating within the area, you will need to know who provides what and where.  What I'm talking about is utility providers.  You will need to know where to look for utility providers for water, electricity, phone, cable, waste, recycling and gas (if gas is available).  Keep in mind that if you're out n the country, your water and sewer may be well and septic.  Some areas will have city, water district or a community well.  I have a page on my website detailing Austin area utility providers.  I can't claim to have every area covered, but it is a good place to start.  If you get hung up and can not find out whom to call for what, contact me and I'll see about getting you good contact information.
