Betty left a comment yesterday asking for more information on the Villas at Flintrock Falls.  The questions were about when they would be available and the property taxes.  First, all but one are to-be-built homes.  We do have one spec going in that should be available in May.  It is the Pienza, which is the smallest single-story plan we have.  Build time is normally 6-7 months.  So if Betty were to purchase a Villa, she may be able to move into it in the middle of this summer.

Property taxes are determined by the value the county places on the home and what exemptions may be in place.  Generally, in this neighborhood, the total property tax rate looks to be around 3.2%.  Taxing entities include Travis County, the Lake Travis ISD, Travis County Water District #17, Travis County Hospital District, City of Lakeway, WCID Flintrock and Travis County ESD #6.

The amount of property tax paid can be lessened depending on what exemptions an owner may be able to get.  For exemption information, please visit the Travis County site.
