Neiman Marcus is opening in Austin this Friday in the Domain.  That should get a lot of attention.  The city of Austin is pretty excited about the Domain.  Austin granted tax breaks to what is mainly a project full of retail space.  Their reasoning was that the sales tax that will be generated from stores in the Domain will be huge and will last a lot of years.  People who want to shop at a Neiman Marcus are excited because they currently have to go to Dallas or Houston.

 

Other retailers going into the Domain include Lacost, Louis Vitton, Solo Mio, Victoria Secret, Kona Grill, California Pizza Kitchen, Borders Books & Music, Lucky Brand Jeans, J. Crew, Tiffany & Co and many more.
