No, this isn't the name of a new hospital, but it might be.  I went to the final Sue's Tour put together by Sue Potter.  Sue gave a great update of projects in Lakeway.  She said that she has been talking to developers and as the talks go on the talk is about a very large, regional hospital that may go in just north of the Lake Travis High School campus.  See a map of where the Lakeway hospital may be.  What you will see is an aerial of the area north of the high school.  The vacant land between the high school tennis courts, Wild Cherry, Peak Lookout and 620 is roughly what Sue was talking about.  Sue said that there is nothing official yet, but that this could be the kind of hospital that would bring people from as far as Marble Falls and Cedar Park.  She talked about a 24 hour emergency room, surgery, specialists of all kinds and a hospital as large as 350,000 square feet.  There currently isn't an emergency room within 30 minutes of Lakeway.  The closest hospitals are in south Austin and northwest Austin.  I'll post more when I know more.
