Another downtown Austin condo project has been announced and this one is one of the more expensive ones.  With units ranging from $1 million to $6 million, this will be the most expensive condo project in downtown.  For these prices, the units had better be pretty luxurious.  Called 1155 Barton Springs, this project calls for three levels of parking with four levels of living units above that.    The more expensive units will also be quite large, with the largest containing over 6200 square feet of space.  Will this project be a success?  I don't know.  I already have concerns about the sheer number of condo and loft projects planned or already underway in the downtown Austin area.  Absorption over the next three or so years will be very interesting to watch.
