House Hunters did a segment on Steiner Ranch in Austin and it gave me the impression that it might spook people a bit.  What specifically made me feel like this was the price points they were talking about.  The narrator stated that an Austin metro house would set you back around $400,000.  She went on to talk about and show homes in Steiner Ranch that a couple was look int at that were in the range of $600,000.

Don't worry, Austin home shoppers, prices aren't this high everywhere.  You can still get into a house within 30 minutes for $200,000.  As in any city, prices vary all over the place.  In some areas you can look starting around $150,000.  In some areas, you can start with prices around $1 million.  Click HERE to watch the video.
