I had a call from a guy in Maryland earlier in the week who was looking for a Lake Travis waterfront lot.  The problem was that his budget was up to $200,000.  That won't get him anything on Lake Travis that won't either be dry during droughts or in the floodplain and even with those issues it won't get much.  The good news is that the man didn't care about a view, just lake access.  So I called my friend and associate Scott Payne in Marble Falls.  Scott did a search and found many listings that might work for this gentleman.  Scott found a number of lots on canals leading to a couple of constant level lakes within the man's m.budget.  Scott will show properties next Wednesday and I hope he finds the man something that will work for him.  If you are looking for lakefront property and have the flexibility, you might consider one of the lakes farther west.
