The Austonian and Other Tall Austin Buildings
The Austin skyline has changed once again. The Austonian, which will be 56 stories tall when completed, took over the top spot as the tallest building in Austin. The Austonian, pictured below, took the top spot from the 360 Condominiums building, which stands 43 stories tall. The Austonian is a condo tower and residents near the top will have spectacular views.
The photo below shows the 30 story 100 Congress with the Austonian behind it. This is a pretty dramatic illustration of just how tall the Austonian is.
The building in the center in the following photo is the 360 Condominium tower, which took over first place in the list of tallest Austin buildings list from the Frost Bank Tower, which follows. The Frost Bank Tower has very interesting architecture at the top. What look almost like sails are bathed in white light at night.
