Ummm..exactly how is handing out non-biodegradable CDs and DVDs better than handing out paper which is a more natural product and can biodegrade or be recycled?

you could use the mini CD ROMs that look like business cards.  They would be less waste, less material, easier to hand out, and have a cool factor.  They work in a typical cdrom player.  Here's an example:

 Finally a post that makes me want to ask questions out of interest instead of rebuttal.  So let's get started.

1. What's the timeframe for first availability?

2. How far along is the developer on this project (land owned, zoned, permitted, streets and utilities in?)?

3. With lot sizes that large (nice for the price), what do the deed restrictions look like?  (are there any non-improved green space requirements, requirements of fencing or lack thereof, specific fence styles required, are outbuildings such as workshops or 2nd garages allowed?)

4. Will there be Green energy options and rain water harvesting options?

5. What are the house sizes (# of bed/baths, sq. ft. range, one or two stories?)

6. I assume the target market is first time buyers and finishes will match that (i.e. little to no stonework, but hopefully hardie plank instead of wood siding).

7. Can you post a location via closest major cross streets?

As far as material to handout, I think a business card with a salesman name and link to a website is probably enough.  Place the floor plans, elevation pictures, community pictures on it (pdfs preferred - ease of portability).  I'd also place starting prices and general sales incentives in the public section.  You could have a PC at the model that allows people to make accounts they can access at home.  These accounts could allow access to more detailed pricing, options available and specialized incentives for the various homes offered.
