I am working with a builder and a developer on a new development that we hope to get off the ground soon.  The development will feature Craftsman style architecture and will offer entry level pricing within the Lake Travis ISD.  Homes will start around $225,000 and they will sit on large lots of around .3 acres.  All homes will have green features with additional green upgrades being available.  We are in the process of getting everything formalized and when that happens, I will post much more information.

Promoting the community will be done in an environmentally friendly way.  We will use very little printed material.  We will have a binder in the model with printed and laminated information, but will not hand that out on paper.  We will provide CDs or DVDs instead.  We will rely heavily on online marketing with a custom website and many people blogging about the community.  One blogger who may post about it is Austin REALTOR  Brian Talley.

Of course we will rely on the MLS to get the information on lots and home listings to all Austin real estate agents.  One thing this will also do is include the lot and home listings in the IDX feed from the Board.  IDX is a data feed that allows all Austin Board members to display the listings on individual Austin real estate websites.  The data from the Board will also go out on nationally syndicated sites like Zillow and others.
