I am a member of the Rotary Club of Lakeway/Lake Travis.  Our biggest fund raiser for the past few years has been a car raffle.  This year the winner can chose between a Mercedes C300 and a Mercedes GLK, with a European delivery vacation included.  The funds we raise go towards scholarships and other charitable projects.  Our newest project is EarlyAct FirstKnight which is a program for elementary school students that teaches ethics, responsibility and service.

Tickets are $100 each.  We will print a maximum of 1200 tickets, so the odds are much better than the lottery!  For those of you in the Lakeway area, there are coupons worth over $100 on the back of the ticket.  The ticket also gains you one admission to the “Yellow Submarine” drawing party on November 5 at Carlos ‘N Charlie’s featuring the great Beatles cover band, The Eggmen.  Additional people can attend for $25 at the door.  (You do not need to be present to win).
