The Oasis Restaurant is a special place.  It is a destination for people vising Austin and there is a great reason for this.  The Oasis sits somewhere between 350 and 400 feet above the main body of Lake Travis.  The view is spectacular whenever there is light, but sunsets can be amazing.  I was at the Oasis around 6 weeks ago.  The sun was not doing down, but a dying thunderstorm with a large anvil was blocking the sun and it made for some pretty good digital photos.  I don't know a lot about digital photographs, but for just pointing and shooting, these came out pretty well.
