Keller Williams agents and clothing for the homeless

The Keller Williams Lake Travis office recently collected clothing to donate to an organization that helps homeless people in Austin. Clothing and other items were collected over several weeks and were stored in one of the unoccupied Keller Williams offices.

On December 15 after the weekly sales meeting, Keller Williams agents loaded a truck with many bags and boxes of clothing, pillows, shoes, coats and other items. The following morning one of the agents drove the truck to the First Methodist Church in downtown Austin. The church provides a room for the Foundation for the Homeless, a non-profit Austin group, to provide a weekly breakfast for homeless people. In addition to the breakfast that morning, homeless people were given clothing and other items that the Keller Williams agents had donated and collected.

Word from the First Methodist Church was that thanks to the donations, 300 people would be dressed better and warmer for Christmas.
