If you have been paying attention to the weather at all, you will have seen that the area that drains into Lake Travis and the rest of the Highland lakes has had a lot of rain inn recent months.  That is excellent news considering the level of the lakes having been so low for so long.  The level of Lake Travis is almost at 672 feet above sea level and that is close to its average for this time of year.

I was showing property in Villa Montagna, which is near the Oasis, yesterday and looking over the main basin saw that the Sometimes Islands have all but vanished.  With the lake up, people are looking at property out toward Lake Travis again.  This is good news not only for lake property, but for property near the lake.  Sellers in Apache Shores, Hudson Bend, Spicewood and other lake area communities might see more showings thanks to Lake Travis being up.
