Want a Great Way to Find Austin Homes For Sale?
Check out the property search feature on my website. I will give you a link to it shortly. What makes this a great search feature? You can search by a variety of things including school district and subdivision. I can't tell you how many people want to be in Steiner Ranch or who want their kids in Lake Travis schools. Just click the search by subdivision link and enter a subdivision name. Or do the same with the search by school district link and enter a name. The buttons will look like what you see below.
Search Type: MAP SEARCH | COUNTY/CITY | ADDRESS/ZIP | AREA | SCHOOL DISTRICT | SUBDIVISION
You can also search by map. The map can be moved around so you can search different areas and you can zoom way in as well. You can also choose different map views. You can use a street map, an aerial photo or a hybrid, which combines these. Buttons for this will be at the top right of the map. You will see what shows below at the top left of the map.
Clicking one of these will allow you to move the map and zoom in and out.
Below the map is an area where you can select your search criteria. You can select a price range, number of bedrooms, waterfront, etc. After you enter your criteria, the map will display properties. You can hover over a property and get basic information. You can also click on the icon for a property and that will take you to a page with greater detail. If you click the Go To Search Results button below the criteria, you see properties matching your criteria.
When you execute the search make sure and go to the last listing. Below the final listing highlighted in red will be a button saying Email Me When New Listings Match This Search.
If you click this, it will notify the system to email you when new listings match your search criteria. How easy is that?
Of course there are some pretty standard things as well. You can build one or more searches and save them to come back to later. Listings can be saved in a favorites folder as well. You can request a showing, email a listing to a friend and some other things as well.
