Hermine and Texas rain

The image pretty much sums up Texas weather today, right?   This is part of a screen capture of the National Weather Service Southern Plains radar sector.  The forecast had Tropical Storm Hermine tracking farther to the west, but it just passed directly over San Antonio.  Although central Texas has seen significant rain, it looks like the really heavy stuff, with the exception of the storm's center, may remain in eastern Texas.

As the storm moves north it will be interesting to see over which areas the heavy rains will train.  People in areas prone to flooding need to watch this storm very carefully.  Anyone driving on any road prone to flooding should also take great care.  It doesn't take much water to lift and move a car off the road.
