The November, 2010 elections are getting closer every day and it looks like the Republicans will pick up a lot of seats in the House and Senate. I have talked with a lot of people looking to move to Austin who are sitting tight until the elections are over.

If the Democrats lose a lot of power, many people think that some what has been by this administration may be reversed. I don’t know about that, but perhaps more spending and tax hikes can be avoided. If that happens, will consumer confidence go up and will consumers and businesses start spending money again?  And if people start spending, will home sales pick up?
