Rough Hollow, the newest community in Lakeway, broke ground on its second amenities center called the Trailhead Club.  This will be a fabulous amenities center for Rough Hollow residents and their guests.  It will have a welcome center, an indoor pavilion, two pools, another water feature that I think will be sort of like a jazzed-up lazy river, a dining area with a grill, a space for an amphitheater and other things to be added in the future.  The developer even has plans for a farmers market at the Trailhead Club.  I've been told, but have not confirmed this yet, that residents will even be able to check out mountain bikes to take on the 18 miles of trails in Rough Hollow.

Lakeway homesExisting amenities in Rough are The Grille at Rough Hollow, an outdoor pavilion, a great marina and ships store, a negative edge pool, hike and bike trails and a fitness center.  HOA in Rough Hollow dues are relatively inexpensive at around $150 to $170 per month.  The developer is obviously subsidizing the amenities until more homes are sold.

Homes in Rough Hollow run from the high $300,000s into the millions.  Not a lot of homes are on the ground yet, but eventually there will be over 1,000.
