Texas is Best in the U.S. for Biggest 5-Year Job Growth
This article should not be a surprise for anyone in Texas. One reason is oil and gas prices and production. The Eagle Ford Shale in central and south Texas is enormous. It has created thousands of jobs and will continue to boom. Texas is also home to more than 50 Fortune 500 companies including 6 of the top 50. If Texas was a country, it would have the 15th largest economy in the world.
